UX Designer - British Premium Brand - £50k
A sought after premium British heritage brand have created an exciting new role inhouse for a UX Designer.
You’ll join an excellent growing ecommerce team working closely with the new Head of Ecommerce responsible for creating the UX strategy from concept to going live. With new leadership and aggressive plans for global growth, this is a superb role for an experienced user experience expert who enjoys full accountability across front and back end design. With loads of exciting new and existing projects in the roadmap this year you’ll be playing a vital role in the creative direction for an amazing brand.
The day to day:
Create compelling digital assets that are both on-brand and meet marketing objectives
Create amazingly creative experiences that marry with good UX
Manage design stages from concept to final hand-off to development ensuring projects are
delivered on time
Designs for special website development project/features
Design of responsive e-commerce marketing emails in multiple languages
Create effective designs for homepage/website and landing pages
Designs for site updates and new pages, including wire-frames
Work cross functionally to identify and implement site design improvements
Design Banner advertising for internal and external partners
Communication with 3rd party agencies on new builds and updates
Skills and experience:
Would suit someone senior enough to own the UX/ Design strategy and be hands-on
Excellent experience as UX Designer for retail, fashion, luxury or lifestyle brand designing for omnichannel experience.
Experience with the Demandware platform would be ideal
Excellent understanding of graphic design, layout and typography
Able to act as the key stakeholder for UX for the business and the main point of contact, the UX ambassador for the brand.
A strong understanding of HTML, CSS, and video capabilities
Perm role based in South Kensington
