Performance Marketing Manager - Online Sports Group

A unique newly created opportunity for a Performance Marketing Manager seeking responsibility in performance digital channels for an Extreme Sports Retail Group. You’ll be working across the group pureplay brands including x3 luxury sports/leisure brands with massive global presence: UK 40%, EU 40% US 5%, ROW 5%. Newly created role with broad accountability and an opportunity to utilise a healthy budget and make real impact on their growing ecommerce dream team. This role would suit an Ecommerce heavy Performance Marketeer looking for responsibility and an opportunity to grow out a team.

The job in ONE sentence:

Own and execute ALL Paid Social and Paid Search (PPC/SEO) strategy with agency support- aiming to move all inhouse. Grow your own team and influence A/B testing, ops and landing pages across 3 sites. 

In-depth RESPONSIBILITIES details, you will:

  • Support the Managing Director and CEO in creating a comprehensive global performance marketing strategy across brands.

  • Own and execute all paid search and paid social strategy.

  • Plan and have budget control of all paid digital marketing initiatives

  • Plan, own and maintain relationships and form strategy with PPC/SEO agencies (aiming to bring this inhouse).

  • Pioneer optimisation of paid digital marketing campaigns and paid landing pages through AB testing and CRO

  • Work closely with CRM marketing Manager and the tech team led by the CEO who has extensive experience, knowledge and skills in data and technology.

  • Lead the both development of the campaigns and be hands on with optimisation

  • Support to grow into the role and build out your own Performance team

  • Utilise a wealth of data to support audience data in paid campaigns (Paid Shopping and Search account for 40% of revenue globally).


A little about YOU:

  • 2-3 years’ experience working in a Digital Marketing/Paid Social role within Ecommerce space.

  • A proven record of growing revenue through bid management and paid search and paid social optimisation

  • Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with Google Ads, Bing Ads, Facebook Ads, Google Analytics

  • Self-starter, excited by both owning and implementing strategy

  • Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking
